Irrfan Khan Biography Personal life
Sahabzade Irfan Ali Khan was born on 7 January 1966 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India into normally known Irrfan Khan, he is a Muslim Pashtun family. He was passed away in 53 years old due to colon infection (cancer) at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on 29 April 2020. Irrfan Khan’s mother, Begum Khan, was from the Tonk Hakim family, and his father, the late Jagirdar Khan, was from the Khajuriya village near the Tonk district and ran a tire business. Irrfan Khan married Sutapa Sikdar on 23 February 1995, who is also a writer. They have two sons, Babil and Ayan.
Irrfan Khan Career
Irrfan Khan made his screen debut with the Academy Award-nominated film Salaam Bombay 1988. And after that, he worked in many films but did not get any recognition. Irrfan Khan has acted in many serials of Doordarshan such as Chanakya, Bharat Ek Khoj, Sara Jahan Hamara, Banegi Apni Baat, Chandrakanta, Shrikant, AnooGoonj, all these serials were Doordarshan hits which also attracted Irrfan Khan. The successful drama Life in a Metro (2007) marked a turning point in Khan’s career, earning him praise and several awards including the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor.
